We continued the program introduced in the Moneragala district in 2017, providing relief to schoolchildren from families living below the poverty line. By supporting 1,000 children in grades 5, 6, and 7 with monthly scholarships until they complete their Advanced Level (A/L) examinations, we paved the way for them to pursue a proper education and a brighter future. This initiative not only eases the financial burden on their parents but also provides a solid platform for the children to remain in school until they complete their A/Ls. The progress of these children is regularly monitored through their schools.
